I am a certified professional dog trainer and behaviour consultant and has worked in the pet care industry for over a decade. I was first introduced to force-free, positive reinforcement training in 2011, while working at a specialized dog daycare and training centre. I went on to start my own private pet care company, providing tailored walks and pet sitting for young, fearful, reactive or aggressive dogs.
I’m currently a student in the Canine Behaviour Diploma program with the International School of Canine Psychology.
Along with my experience working with clients’ dogs, I also helped my own dog at the time, a Rottweiler named Malcolm, overcome fear and reactivity. I have a keen interest in behaviour modification, as well as trick training. Malcolm and I received Novice, Intermediate and Advanced Trick Titles. I am currently raising a new Rottweiler puppy, Peter Parker.
I have been training with Dog Partners Professional Dog Training in North Vancouver with group classes and private training clients since 2015.
