Join Margaret Good for a Recap  of 3 of the 12 presenters from the 2025 Dog Behaviour Conference, hosted by the Victoria Stilwell Academy, “featuring a world class roster of presenters covering topics ranging from training and behaviour to rescue/shelter work and the latest in behaviour and cognitive science.”

“For dog trainers, behaviour geeks and pet pros from around the world.” And incredibly informative for those of us who are dog guardians!

Margaret will discuss

  1. How to Build a Puppy Who Is Physically Prepared for Life — Julia Robertson
We are often very focused on our puppies’ socialization in their first four months. This session was about how puppies' physical development is just as important!

  2.  Rethinking Reactivity: A New Way of Working with Reactive Dogs — Victoria Stilwell
There are no bad dogs or reactive dogs, just dogs reacting to certain triggers or environments. We need to change our perspective from managing the dog, to managing the relationship between the dog and the environment.

  3. ACEing Adolescence — Sarah Fisher
An introduction to ACE (Animal Centred Education) Freework, an enrichment method that provides a dog the opportunity to explore, make their own choices, and encounter a variety of textures, scents, tastes and new objects—building confidence and resilience.
