January is Train Your Dog Month!

PACTA BC’s Train Your Dog Month 2022 “Trick Challenge”

CONTEST RULES/FAQs

1.  You can enter this free challenge as many times as you like.  The more times you enter, the more chances you have to win.  Do a different trick, or change location if you are repeating a trick.

2.  Use positive reinforcement training methods to train and generalise the trick.

3.  Creativity is encouraged but entries must not show any undue risk or discomfort.

4.  Submission requirements

5.  Prizes will be awarded by random draws to British Columbia residents and will be mailed or emailed to winners. 

6.  The challenge closes at midnight PST on January 31, 2022.

7.  Prizes include canine enrichment toys, vouchers for online events, leashes, dog toys, gift certificates, books, and other dog-themed prize packages.   There will be one prize package for a non-dog entry.

8.  Your trick can be any behaviour you consider a trick!  Shake a paw, ride a skateboard, roll over, run through a tunnel...it's up to your imagination!  Novice or advanced trainer: all are welcome to participate!

9.  Entry in the challenge constitutes your permission for PACTA BC to use your entry, name, and information for promotional and/or publication purposes on the web site, social media, posters, email correspondence, and news releases, without further compensation to you.

10.  By entering the challenge, entrants agree that PACTA BC and its executive, directors, volunteers and membership shall have no liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from participation in the challenge.  By entering, all entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of PACTA BC which are final.

11.  This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, nor associated with Facebook or Instagram.

12.  Winners will be announced on February 12, 2022.  A list of winners will be published on pactabc.ca, and the PACTA BC Facebook page.
