A dog trainer since 1997, I have been involved in so many things DOG. I was a responder in disaster animal rescue during the Okanagan Fires in 2003, Hurricane Katrina 2005, Lilooett Fires 2008 and the Cariboo Fires in 2017. I was president of Creston Pet Adoption and Welfare Society from 2001 to 2013 and was the lead in the 2001 rescue, rehabilitation, training and rehoming of 56 dogs chained on Kootenay Pass, and founded the Creston PAWS Shelter and Rehabilitation Centre in 2010. Since 2012 I have been working with Citadel Service Dogs to train and certify service dogs through the BC Provincial Safety Ministry for veterans and first responders with PTSD on Vancouver Island. I offer Puppy Classes, Manners Classes and private one-on-one training for residents of Gabriola Island.
